Remove white space when the invisible tracker option is used

Category , ,

When the invisible tracker option is enabled, depending on the website layout and formatting, there may be a situation where the tracker code produces white space where the hidden tracker is placed.

If you have inspected your code carefully and determined that the issue is purely caused by the visitor tracker code when used in the context of your website, please follow these steps to generate a tracking code that will be adjusted to eliminate a possible space left around its code.

  1. Create your project and ignore the first visitor tracking code generated
  2. Navigate to “My Projects” page, and click on the “edit” link next to your project’s name
  3. Scroll down to the “Invisible Tracker” option. Enable it, and click on the “Update Settings” button
  4. Navigate to “My Projects” page and click on the “tracker code” link located to the right of your project’s name
  5. Click on the “Get Original Code” button if you need the same tracker code. Otherwise, select any of the tracker styles provided below. All visitor tracker styles capture the same information. However, please note that the same code must be used on ALL pages of your website.
  6. Generate your code

The system-provided tracker code is now modified to eliminate any white space around the code.
