The Visitor Page Loads report may display varying IP address locations for the same visitor due to updates in the GeoIP database provided by Internet Service Providers (ISPs). When visitors access your site, the initial records capture their “point of origin“, which reflects their original geographic data at the time of their visit. However, subsequent visits may show updated GeoIP information, especially if there has been a recent update to our GeoIP database.
We have implemented a new feature that reflects the most current GeoIP data is displayed for each visitor on the Visitor List report. This modification replaces the previous “point of origin” data with the latest information, thus eliminating inconsistencies in location reporting across different reports.
With the improvement implemented, you’ll receive accurate and up-to-date geographic information for all your site visitors, providing a clearer understanding of their locations.
