Cookieless Tracking System - EU Cookie Law Directive
A complete analytics solution to track your website visitors without using cookiesCookieless Tracking is an integrated module that can be used for cookie-free tracking of any website that services European Union member states and thus affected by the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) (previously a subject to EU Cookie Law Directive).
Some of the affected states are Austria, Belgium, British Virgin Islands, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czechia, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, United Kingdom. Other states may fall into this category as the law emerges with revisions.
The current EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) replaces EU cookie law directive and requires that any website that targets residents from the previously affected by EU cookie law directive receives a full consent from its visitors and their acceptance of the terms before the cookies can be placed in the visitors' browsers. A webmaster must allow the visitors to opt out from tracking cookie usage if desired.
Only essential cookies are not required to be authorized such as those strictly used in shopping carts and visitor shopping cart sessions. All others, including third-party cookies such as Facebook Like buttons, Google Analytics, and other vendors that utilize cookies for tracking their visitors are required to be authorized by the visitors.
TraceMyIP.org allows achieving the compliance with EU GDPR significantly easier. Although other steps might be required to achieve complete compliance with EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) (previously EU cookie law), TraceMyIP.org provides the service that completely eliminates the usage of visitor tracking cookies. This feature can be enabled or disabled for each website tracking project at any time by clicking on the "edit" link, located to the right of each project name. This feature is also configurable via using the complete set of GDPR Compliance Tracking Tools. Please note that enabling cookieless tracking will also disable some reports that are dependent on cookies stored in the visitor browsers.
With the cookieless visitor tracking option enabled, TraceMyIP.org will continue successfully track to track the following:
